Testimonials

Marvelous model railroad layouts. These folks did a wonderful job recreating several towns in a variety of scales. Well worth the price of admission.

My kiddo loves trains so we tried out the museum on a whim. He loved every minute. I was worried there wouldn’t be enough to play with for really little ones, but there were plenty of buttons to press and toddler-sized train tables to enjoy. We will definitely go back.

This place was a dream come true for my 3 year old twins! And I was enthralled as well! They have plenty of buttons to push and things to look at to keep them entertained for over an hour! Their covid precautions are good too. I’m excited to check this place out after covid as I understand there are more things to explore!

This is easily the best train museum we have been to. My son is 3 years old and loves to push buttons. This place was amazing! The most interactive train museum we have been to.

On my vacation to Minnesota, this was by far one of my most favorite places that I have visited. More fun than mall of America and most of the other main attractions the Twin cities had to offer.

What an awesome place to escape from the cold and enjoy playing and seeing model trains with your children.
Lot of interactive stations and sights of detailed model trains to explore. You can tell the craftsmanship that went into the hand made trains.

Hiroshi A., Minneapolis, MN

We took my 3 yr old nephew here and he loved it! There are tons of buttons the kids can push to make trains and accessories go. They have a mini train table the kids can drive the train. There also are some wooden trains set for the kids to play with.

If you enjoy toy trains or have children, this is a great place to spend an afternoon. There are at least a dozen different train layouts ranging from Z to G guages

I came here to see the train doctor about a few model train locomotives that were not working. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The model train displays were great. Much more interactive than I had expected. Great place for kids and adults.

Ken K.

Amazing place with lots of beautiful, interactive displays. The folks that run it are very passionate and love to share their knowledge with kids. Highly recommend.
