This O-Gauge Layout was constructed in 2009 by Museum volunteers for a special one-day event held in Bandana Square called “The Circus Modes By Rail”. The event honored the historical root of how circuses once traversed the country.
The Layout was constructed over a period of just a few weeks working evenings, and using donated and salvaged materials. Work began on August 13, 2009 and the Layout was completed October 4th, just in time for the “Circus Moves By Rail” event on October 10, 2009. Our thanks go out to all of the volunteers who helped create this fun layout in such a short period of time.
